Women’s Networking Event

Monday, October 22, 4:30-5:45PM, Boise Centre East 420A

This conference event is for women only and will provide attendees with the ability to network directly with other women in all sectors of our industry.

PNCWA’s Women’s Leadership Subcommittee hopes you will  join us this year for the third annual PNCWA Women’s Networking Event. This year’s event will be held at the PNCWA2018 conference at the Boise Centre East, 420A on Monday, October 22 from 4:30-5:45. The networking event directly follows the conference "Return on your Diversity Investment." panel discussion (Session 1A/1B Leadership Track). This event is fun, free, and a great opportunity to network with women leaders in our industry.

This year’s event features wine tasting from Cinder Wines and we will be toasting our 2018 PNCWA Woman of the Year, Chanin Bays, WES Resource Recovery Program Supervisor for Clackamas County. Chanin was selected for this award based on her extensive work supporting women and successful project work with WES. Chanin’s exemplary leadership skills, innovative employee engagement methods, and impeccable work ethic inspire colleagues while her influence extends industrywide and beyond.

 

This event will also provide a chance for you all to meet Jackie Jarell, the 2018-19 WEF President-Elect. Jackie has been with Charlotte Water has been responsible for the overall management of the operation and maintenance of five wastewater treatment facilities consisting of a total capacity of 123 million gallons per day (MGDShe is also responsible for the related Residuals Program, producing more than 90,000 wet tons/ year, and the Industrial Pretreatment Program, with more than 60 significant industrial users.

We will also be selling Wonder Women of Water T-Shirts. Every shirt purchased provides a $10 donation to PNCWA’s scholarship fund.
